Out of the Ashes was born from the memory of Jack Stevens, lead singer of early '90s South Florida rockers, Sin City. At that time, Sin City released ‘Night Time Hour’, a 14-song journey of sorcery, betrayal and redemption. Years later, as a solo artist, Jack Stevens released ‘High, Dirty and Low’, continuing on the Sin City theme. On the eve of headlining their biggest show, Jack died. Guitarist Ray Anton has revived the songs he and Jack wrote and played, with a twist. Enter Maria Serritella, lead singer and formally trained classical dancer, whose petite frame and vocals embody the physicality and power of the likes of Pat Benatar and Joan Jett , but with a fresh, sexy, edgy style uniquely her own. Out of the Ashes is reminiscent of the arena rock bands of the 80’s.
