Brody Buster
Kansas City - Missouri - United States

When Brody Buster was just 7 years old, he picked up one of his Mother's harmonicas and began to teach himself to play. Little did he know that in a short time he would be jammin' on Beale Street in Memphis, Tennessee taking the Blues world by storm.

Playing worldwide and sharing the stage with the who's-who's and musical legends of Quincy Jones, Chaka Khan, Keb Mo, Lee Oskar and many other greats. As a regular featured artist at BB King's Blues Club, the legend himself took a high interest in Brody's talent and allowed him to join him many times throughout the years.

Being a child prodigy sure has it's perks. In this whirlwind time of  his life, Brody was featured on countless TV programs. Highlights including; The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Dateline, Crook & Chase, Jon Stewart and even Full House.

At 16 Brody began to sink himself into current music of modern day. He felt the need to live life as a normal teen without music being the focal point. He made a few mistakes along the way and began to create his own "Highway to Hell." These trials and tribulations began to groom Brody into the skin of his talents. Continuing playing with friends and creating music throughout these formative years.

As all adults know, bills need paid and children need fed. In 2013 Brody began toying with what he deemed "Brody Buster's One Man Band." Himself, his electric guitar, phenomenal harmonica skills, snare, kick-drum and kick-ass high energy. In 2017 he found himself back in Memphis, Tennessee This time he brought his shine to the International Blues Challenge for the Kansas City Blues Society as a solo performer. He had no expectation of winning this highly coveted competition which hosts over 150 high caliber musicians from around the world. However, Brody showed the masses in Memphis that as an adult he still has electrifying  multi-musical talent. He made his way to the finals and stole the show. "The most talented musician I have seen here" -Rick Booth. Claiming the 1st place win for Best Harmonica Player and 2nd in Best Solo/Duo act. After such an exhilarating win Brody went on to tour the United States and Canada. Making stops at The Montreal Jazz Festival, Tremblant International Blues Festival, Bronze Blues Festival (Oregon), Tall City Blues Festival (Texas) and countless more.

Life has a way of kicking you down. During the Global Pandemic and following the death of his brother, Brody found himself engrossed in drug abuse, women and bad decisions. Letting his musical career fall to the wayside. On the brink of death and loosing everything, he made a decision. Moving from Kansas to Missouri in 2023, he began his sobriety journey. Making amends, asking for forgiveness and righting his wrongs. Brody began to pull himself out of his new "Highway to Hell." Shifting his focus to what mattered most, family and music.

A Redemption was being born.

With new found determination and life purpose, Brody engrossed himself in the Kansas City music scene once more. Using his pain and stories he began to write. He scraped together his change, enlisted some of Kansas Cities finest Blues Musicians and hit the studio. With the help of his new friends, his first self-produced, studio, full band album was created.
