About the Band
It’s late. You’re driving by yourself on a dark road in the middle of the desert and you can’t shake the feeling that someone’s following you. Just then, the beat-up car you’re driving dies on the side of the road with no one else around...
Positive Chaos is a 5-piece from Melbourne, FL that’s making guitar-driven, rock and roll. With heavy distorted guitar licks, driving drums and bass, grungy vocals, and an electric violin for a unique twist, Positive Chaos draws influence from the Foo Fighters, Blind Melon, and Clutch. The band's upcoming album release, Apprehensive Time Travelers Club: Departures was produced by Stu Richardson (No Devotion, Swim, Thursday) and Anthony Fata. Lyrically, Positive Chaos' songs speak to the disenfranchised: offering some snarky commentary on modern culture, but the bottom line is to keep it real and have fun. The mantra: Life is chaos, keep it positive. This is just our “Asphalt Mirage ”.
