About the Band

Giuseppe & Rodrigo is a traditional acoustic blues duo based out of St. Louis, MO, USA. The duo is made up of Giuseppe D'Amelio (guitar and vocals) and Rodrigo Reis (harmonica and vocals) and aims to preserve the rich tradition of acoustic blues as it was originally played on front porches and at juke joints. Influenced by everybody form Robert Johnson to Skip James to Mississippi John Hurt to the Chicago scene, Giuseppe & Rodrigo perform a variety of unique interpretations of classics and original compositions aiming to showcase the broad spectrum that constitutes acoustic blues. Their self-produced, debut album "Met At The Mississippi" was released in August of 2020.
