Mississippi Macdonald thankfully starts here where he left off with 2019’s Do Right, Say Right, dropping a set of solid, satisfying mostly originals; voice, axe work and lyric skills all in top-notch form.  The Brit guitarist/vocalist works out splendidly with Vaneese Thomas on the duet selection “Blind Leading The Blind” and delivers an emotional gut punch on the gospel-tinged “I’ll Understand”.  Plenty more to check out here as well.
