Coming up on fifteen years ago in 2009, Upstate-NY guitarist Joe Pinnavaia released the first of his two albums with Test Tube Rhino and then in 2012 he released his second Test Tube Rhino album. Inspired by great guitarists in the progressive rock and fusion world, Pinnavaia is back in the music world after way too many years with, Stellar - a limited edition duet guitar album with like-minded musician Maurice Arenas.

In addition to each being a masterful guitarist, both are studio mavens and program their soaring guitar fretboard work with all kinds of high tech drum programming that gives the album a high tech jazz-rock sheen. Musically, these sonic jams sound more like two masters of the fretboard medium driving each other on to plumb the depths of the modern day electric guitar fusion sound with great finesse.
