Duo chemistry of a very high order runs off the edges of this impressive debut set.  Guitarist Hartman, of the Grammy-nominated outfit Della Mae, and banjoist/guitarist Ashton generate a most convincing intimacy vocally, through their skillful instrumental interplay and very much by way of their individually-penned lyric sets. Standing out in addition to the title track are the enchanting “The Nature Of Us” and a gem of a “he said/she said” face-off, “Dead To Me”.
