Urbanity is the smooth jazz duo of guitarist Albare and keyboardist/programmer Phil Turcio. The group formed in 2016 to record “Urban Soul,” an album that reached the Top Ten of Billboard’s smooth jazz charts. With the exception of one track (“Desperado”), their material is original and “Once Upon A Love” and “I Say” are receiving considerable airplay on jazz radio. The project creates a relaxed, easy listening groove that illustrates the close friendship and seamless collaboration of these two Grammy Award-nominated artists.
